Spring has sprung, time to grow!

April is here, spring showers will bring spring flowers. Be prepared to nurture yourself in group classes or private sessions with Hilary, there is always something new to learn and to explore in our minds, bodies, emotions through a physical practice.

All classes are open to the public and all levels are invited to join in. We offer a strong support network that encourages all to be present in their bodies, a no-judgement zone! If you have any questions or any anxieties about trying a class out, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Join in community at:

  • Somerset Lake Clubhouse on Monday evenings

  • New Garden Township Park, inside historic Lyceum Hall on Tuesday evenings

  • Both classes run from 6:00-7:00 pm

About Hilary

My life has been a journey of learning, creating, growing and healing. There has been a lot of pain along the way and it is my Dharma to help guide others on their own path through the process of divine energy. 

Having worked over 25 years in the mushroom industry as a mycologist/spawn maker, The Growing Room is an extension of my belief that we are all designed to grow... continuously. This is a reflection of my learning in a challenging career and as a yoga, Pilates and martial arts practitioner and instructor. 

It it my goal, and desire, to share and help cultivate others on their path of enlightenment.

About The Growing Room

The Growing Room brings together the teachings of the mind, body and spirit in a safe space that has been created from the heart. Providing opportunities to heal, grow and share awareness in a relaxed atmosphere that supports the needs of each client in a individualized practice. As the owner/operator, Hilary specializes in foot/knee/hip/low back/shoulder/neck pain along with general and specific tension.

Initial consults with clients identify specific needs based on current injuries, pain, energy, trauma. Some clients seek relief from pain and are eager to learn themselves how to facilitate balance. Others are looking to learn more about specific aspects of the practice. 

We will work together to incorporate The 8 Limbs of Yoga along with Kosha model and Dosha theory to help clear physical, energetic, emotional and spiritual imbalances.


Private Clients by Appointment Only:

  • Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Afternoons: 3:00pm-8:00pm

  • Saturdays & Sundays: 6:00am to 6:00pm

About Group Classes

Small group classes are an ideal way to get to know me and the yoga and Pilates practices. Both classes are suited to all levels and abilities with modifications offered in a non-judgmental environment with other like-minded souls looking to connect. If you are not ready for a group class, please contact me to see if individualized sessions would be a good fit for you!

  • All-Levels Yoga: Mondays 6:00-7:00pm at Somerset Lake Clubhouse

  • Community Yoga: Tuesdays 6:00-7:00pm Lyceium Hall at New Garden Park (beginning February 27th, 2018)
